Allison Driskell Scott Earns Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society Certification

Allison Driskell Scott earned the distinction of Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). The RAPS examination addresses policies and regulations affecting regulated health products covering devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics and biotechnology. Regulatory professionals must have earned three to five years regulatory experience prior to taking the rigorous test for certification and must re-certify every three years to maintain the internationally-recognized credentials.

In the course of her medical industry consulting experience, Ms. Scott has successfully obtained U.S. regulatory clearances and approvals and Canadian licensing for international and domestic firms with products ranging from medical software to diagnostic monitoring and imaging products to active therapeutic devices. She has also filed and obtained Investigational Device Exemptions for multiple products in the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Scott has extensive experience with start-up companies, providing the optimum regulatory strategy to assist in the fund-raising stage of development, and guiding the company through product development, regulatory submission, and into commercialization. In addition, she participates as a member of the Combination Product Coalition.
