Anson Experts Serve as Purdue Regulatory Guest Lecturers

Three Anson Group pharmaceutical consultants will serve as guest lecturers in the Regulatory and Quality Compliance Masters Degree program conducted by the Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

O. Reed Tarwater, Ph.D., RAC, Director of Pharmaceutical Consulting Services, and John Worzalla, M.S., RAC, Senior Regulatory Consultant, will co-present on the topics of avoiding registration mistakes and handling issues with FDA. During this presentation they will present a case study to provide the students with a real-life regulatory example of such an interaction with the FDA. In addition, Dr. Tarwater will lecture about Sponsor interactions in meetings with the FDA, as well as provide information on working within the regulatory affairs department of a small consulting firm. John Worzalla will discuss FDA Advisory Committee meetings. Anne Coffey, Regulatory Associate, will provide real-world insight regarding electronic regulatory submissions.

The Purdue Masters Regulatory Quality Compliance program provides graduate level education in the organization and operation of the regulatory and quality compliance fields. Those presenting include a representative from the FDA, academics and consultants, or industry representatives with extensive experience and who are experts in their fields.
