Anson Pharmaceutical Director Leading RAPS Session
Regulatory Affairs Professionals work in an environment where the role of the regulatory professional and the role of legal counsel can be unclear.
Pharmaceutical Services Director O. Reed Tarwater, Ph.D., RAC, will both moderate and present during a professional development session focused on the difference between legal and regulatory questions and issues at the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society meeting (Horizons) in San Francisco, April 1-3, 2009.Anson will offer an overview of the difference between the regulatory and legal issues that face a regulatory professional. Based on his over 30 years developing new pharmaceuticals, Dr. Tarwater will discuss when regulatory advice, as opposed to legal advice, is needed in product development.
Reed Tarwater is Director of Anson’s Pharmaceutical Services group. He has over 30 years of drug development experience, is accredited by RAPS, and lectures in Purdue University courses for the Regulatory Affairs/Quality Compliance Master’s Degree Program.
